Memorial Park, not used as much for a park, but as a “memorial”. Not many people just come for a family picnic, or to even look at the granite slab placed right in the middle of the park to recognize just how important our history is.
This memoriam is there to give recognition to all of the soldiers of Lyndonville who had fought and died for the cause of our country and didn’t make it home to their families. It is sad that people just shrug it off, that these people died so we could be here today, living in prosperity, just the way that one man dreamed of long ago.
